Hope you all are having a wonderful week thus far. I’m excited to run a few errands today, but believe it or not the temperature is already dropping to 60’s! I feel like Summer just started and now we are fast approaching Fall. The season’s in Chicago have been quite strange this year since Spring almost skipped over and now Summer was hardly 3 months!
Today I’m featuring a maxi scarf that I have been in love with even before I bought it (mainly because of the print). How is that possible? Well the print of the scarf is quite popular since it was part of Louis Vuitton’s collection several seasons ago and I was in love then but not so much with the price tag. But with all pretty high end designer items they eventually trickle down to high street shops, and voila I found mine at A’gaci several months back (but can still be found on ebay).
For this look you can take any maxi scarf you own and tie two knots, one from right side and one left side, to the middle of the longest side of the scarf. The scarf then will then look like it has arm holes and you can simply wear it as a cardigan. Quite easy! If you want to learn more ways to wrap your scarf in creative ways there are several YouTube videos showing the process.
My Wear it Wednesday look features basics with straight leg denim, a stripped top, and black scarf for hijab. This is as basic as it gets, but by using a printed scarf you can spruce up the look without it being complicated.
