Plaid is quintessential during this time of year, however since I’m originally from Florida I never cared much for it until the pass two years when I would notice more and more people wearing plaid starting Fall. Of course, that made me fall in love with plaid and while I’m still working my way toward buying more pieces for my wardrobe I thought I would start off with the ever-so-popular Zara plaid blanket scarf. Doesn’t this blanket scarf make a great accessory?
In addition to the amazing plaid scarf, I’m pairing it with two other favorite items currently the maxi cardigan that I bought from Nordstrom during their anniversary sale, and the OTK boots by Franco Sarto which are dupes for the coveted 5050 boots. This time around I knew Fall flies by in Chicago so I’ve been wearing these pieces, especially the scarf and cardigan, with several different outfits. The cardigan will definitely be staying in my closet now since it is way too cool in Chitown for any thin cardigan.
It was quite windy when we took these snaps so I’m not preggers! Maybe also bloated since it was after the halal food festival which I was disappointed in this year due to the lack of food stalls and more organization. So while I took some snaps there it isn’t enough for me to rave about, but if you would like to get an idea you can read about it in my last year’s post here.
Thank you for visiting and have a great weekend!
