Happy Tuesday everyone!
Today I’m starting a new feature, Tempting Tuesday, where I will feature high end designer pieces. I love to take inspiration from luxury designers and pay attention to details of textile pattern, fabric choices, design, style and fit. I then try to look for high street pieces that feature similar details.
The stand out piece for this first Tempting Tuesday is the maxi skirt. The maxi skirt should be a staple in a modest fashionistas closet. The maxi skirt offers versatility to dress up or down, and can be worn on any occasion or outing. Most of all maxi skirts are comfortable, and during warmer months feel refreshingly airy.
I’m completely lusting over these beautiful maxi skirts. On the top row I’m loving the fresh take on china print with the luscious pleats. The yummy yellow skirt probably has to be my favorite from the set with the gorgeous drape detail. The last in the row was chosen because of the lovely coral paisley print- what a beauty!
On the second row the abstract print is so unique that pairing it with a simple top would let the skirt take center stage. The skirt in the middle looks almost like a beautiful tulip draping so elegantly and the pastel blue is perfect for this season. And the last skirt of the bunch stood out to me because of the clean streamlined fit and the on trend mirror print but instead of being on the sides I love how it’s on the top and bottom.

Hope you enjoyed this Tempting Tuesdays feature!
